About Me

About Me

I started working at Blevins Middle School in 2016 in the SED Program, where I worked for 6 years. Currently, I am the Blevins Integrated Services Department lead, working outside of the classroom on IEPs and supporting the wonderful IS staff at Blevins!

I grew up in Colorado most of my life but have also lived in Kansas and Washington State. I earned my degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, where I also competed in Cross Country and Track and Field. I have coached in the past but am currently taking a break to spend more time with my 3 beautiful children! Before working at Blevins, I worked in Thompson School District for the first 3 years of my teaching and coaching career.

At Blevins, we have students in the Multicategorical and center-based SED (serious emotional disabilities) programming through Integrated Services. I am here for families and staff for all things Integrated Services, so please reach out if you ever need anything! I truly enjoy getting to know the Integrated Services students and families through my role at Blevins!
