Blevins Middle School Vision Statement:

Blevins Middle School exists to welcome and inspire everyone in the learning community in a supportive environment that fosters creative opportunities for middle school students to grow and achieve.

School Hours for 2019-20 school year are 8:05 AM to 2:55 PM

For all visitors to Blevins, a picture ID is required that will be presented to the camera at the school's front entrance.  As we visually match you to your ID, you will be given access to Blevins.

Upcoming Dates & Information:

Blevins Stride:

Friday, September 13th - Student walk-a-thon. Students obtain donations from friends and family that are used by Blevins PTO to enrich the climate and culture for Blevins students. Donations support student assemblies, after-school clubs, student wellness room, PE supplies, classroom mini-grants.  Donations for prize eligibility are due Friday, October 4th. All students receive a Blevins t-shirt that is worn during Stride.  After the Stride assembly, students have decided the grand prize, "Principal for the Day" is the best prize!

Parent volunteers are needed. 

We need help with monitoring races, handing out lap bracelets, and distributing fruit.  If you aren't able to volunteer time you can send in orange slices or cuties!  

Races are at different times for each grade so there are lots of options available.  If you can help out with any of these volunteer slots, please sign up at

Parent/Teacher Conferences: 

Tuesday, September 17th and Thursday, September 19th, 4:00 - 7:30 PM

Counseling and Admin staff will be available in the Front Lobby to provide you with your child's schedule. 

6th Grade teachers will be sending emails to the parents of their students with a link to sign-up for times to come in and conference.  6th Grade has no drop-in conference times.  Late times will result in passing on your spot due to the tightness of the 6th grade conference schedule. Conferences are with your child's team and will take place in the 6th grade classrooms.  

7th and 8th Grade conferences take place in Gym 200 and are first-come, stand in line "arena style" for a 7 minute conference.  A form will be provided in Gym 200 for parents to request an individual conference time with the teacher of their 7th and/or 8th grade student. 

Electives (Art, Music Dept., Physical Education, Computer Education, Health, Wood Crafts, Tech) conferences will take place in the Auditeria (lunchroom) and are first-come, stand in line "arena style" for a 7 minute conference. 

Student Picture Retakes:

Skillman Photography picture packets: Picture retake day is Friday, September 27th.  Students new to Blevins or students that missed having a photo taken August 19th should have a Retake. Student times for retakes is 7:30 to 9:00 AM. If you are unsatisfied with your student's photograph, bring the original packet, unused, to Retakes (located in the Blevins Library) and order another!  Skillman Photography order forms are attached below and available in the Blevins office.

School Dance:

Friday, October 4th, 6:00 - 7:30 PM in the Blevins Auditeria.  Admission is $5 and students use their ID to attend the dance.  The dance is sponsored by Blevins WEB and is supervised by Blevins staff and administration.  Parent volunteers are also welcome.  Refreshments may be purchased from WEB leaders at the dance. The week of September 30-October 4 will be Spirit Week that will pertain to the theme of the dance. 

Hat Day Fundraiser:

Sponsored by SLT (Student Leadership Team), September 27th and October 25th.  Students can Pay a Buck to Wear a Hat on this day.  Funds raised will be donated to an animal house or the Larimer County Food Bank.  SLT may have upcoming dates for service-learning through food drives or other ideas.
