What an honor it is to be serving as one of the Blevins Middle School assistant principals. I started my career as a paraprofessional, then spent my last 10 years as a 7th Grade English and Drama teacher before venturing on to the role of Dean of Students. I was born and raised in Colorado and graduated from CSU — go Rams! I stay busy with my husband and two little boys who love adventure and playing outside. We live on a mini-farm with cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, mini cows and mini donkeys!
My passion is middle schoolers. It is such a pivotal time for our kiddos with so many exciting changes happening and it is important to me to do everything I can to ensure each student feels safe, seen, and heard. I am a fierce advocate for all students and value the teamwork it takes between the school and families to make sure we are always doing what is best for our students.
I am excited to work alongside Blevins staff to continue to build a positive school culture while also making sure we are doing whatever we can to help our students grow and feel inspired everyday. I am looking forward to continuing to get to know our wonderful Bruin community and creating new memories with you all. We are a proud school doing amazing things.
