What an honor it is to join the Bruins this year! I started my career as a paraprofessional, then spent my last 10 years as a 7th Grade English and Drama teacher before venturing on to the role of Dean of Students. I was born and raised in Colorado and graduated from CSU — go Rams! I stay busy with my husband and two little boys who love adventure and playing outside. We even made a leap and bought some property in Fort Collins and are enjoying learning all about farm life. Feel free to share some pointers on how to raise chickens!
My passion is middle schoolers. It is such a pivotal time for our kiddos with so many exciting changes happening and it is important to me to do everything I can to ensure each student feels safe, seen, and heard. I am a fierce advocate for all students and value the teamwork it takes between the school and families to make sure we are always doing what is best for our students.
I am excited to work alongside Blevins staff to continue to build a positive school culture while also making sure we are doing whatever we can to help our students grow and feel inspired everyday.
