Blevins PTO
Welcome Back, Blevins Families!
We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and is settling into a great new school year! The Blevins PTO is excited for another year of supporting our students, teachers, and staff — and we’d love to have more Blevins families involved.
Whether you can attend meetings, volunteer at an event, help with fundraising, or simply stay informed, every bit of involvement makes a difference.
Looking Back: Your PTO Dollars at Work
Last year, Blevins PTO raised approximately $12,500, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, attended events, and helped make that possible!
Those funds went directly back into our school to support teachers, staff, and students. Some of the ways PTO was able to make an impact included:
- Supporting teacher and staff appreciation events
- Providing classroom supplies and student resources
- Purchasing new musical instruments for our band programs
- Supporting Multimedia Productions, including video, podcasting, yearbook, and social media opportunities
- Providing math supplies and calculators for students
- Supporting reading resources for students developing foundational reading skills
- Funding PBL and art projects that give students creative opportunities
- Helping with school beautification projects, including student-centered projects around the Blevins campus
We are proud that the money raised by our Blevins community goes right back into the school and directly supports the students and staff who make Blevins such a special place.
Thank you to everyone who helped make last year’s fundraising a success!
All are welcome - Next PTO Meeting Tuesday, Aug 18th 5:30-7pm Blevins Collaboration Cafe.

Bruin Club
Blevins is one of very few schools in PSD to offer a free, in-house after-school program.
Bruin Club operates Monday through Friday from 2:25-5:00 p.m. in the Auditeria, offering clubs, activities, homework help, and more. The Fall/Winter Bruin Club season will begin September 14th.
To participate, all students must have a completed 2026–2027 Permission to Participate form on file. Forms are available in the front office, can be downloaded and emailed to icrume@psdschools.org, or returned in paper form to the front office. Forms are due at least 24 hours prior to attendance. A separate form is required for each student.
How It Works:
- All students should report to the Auditeria after school if they plan to attend Bruin Club that day. All students must be signed in prior to 2:45 p.m. or they will be unable to attend.
- All students must be picked up by 5:00 p.m. If you anticipate being late to pick up your student, please notify us at (970) 657-6612 no later than 4:50 p.m.
- Bruin Club is an extension of the school day, and students are expected to follow the same rules and expectations set in place by PSD's Student Code of Conduct. Cell phones may be used, but only in a safe and appropriate manner. If a student is unable to use their phone responsibly, they may lose the privilege of having it during the program.
- A reminder text will be sent out prior to any Bruin Club closures.
For Bruin Club questions, contact Izzy Crume at (970)657-6612 or email icrume@psdschools.org.
2026-2027 Blevins Yearbook
While May seems so far away, the Yearbook purchase deadline will creep up faster than you think! Now is the best time to pre-order your yearbook for three reasons:
- You are guaranteed a yearbook! We don’t order enough for every student, so ordering in advance guarantees your student will receive one.
- You can get FREE icons to customize your student’s book. Add music notes, a football, or other symbols to reflect their unique interests with the code YBKICONS at checkout when personalization is purchased
- The yearbook is CHEAPER! After winter break, the cost of the Yearbook will go up! Order your yearbook now and avoid the price increase later in the year.
We appreciate your support of yearbook as students create the entire book start to finish. We can’t wait to share this year’s work with you!
