About Me:: 

I have been teaching English Language Arts at Blevins since August of 2013 where I have had the opportunity to work with children in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Mr. Tanner, Mrs. Griese and I make the Spectacled Bears Team.  Additionally, I am a WEB coordinator with another colleague. Prior to arriving at Blevins, I taught at a high school in north Denver.  

I live in Wellington with my husband and two children, Madilyn Mae and Henry Dylan. We hope to make Wellington our eternal town.

Here are a few other fun facts about me:

  • I was born in Brazil.
  • My mom and mother-in-law live on our property with us.
  • English was not my first language! I speak English, Portuguese, and some Spanish.
  • I have coached tennis and softball.
  • Our dog is named Odie.
  • One of my favorite books is The Great Gatsby.
