About Me
Interests & Hobbies Outside of School:: 

I enjoy teaching private horn lessons and performing with groups such as the Fort Collins Wind Symphony, Friends of Loveland Chamber Music and the Colorado Brass Quintet.   

I also enjoy spending time in the mountains hiking, fishing, camping, etc.  I like to read, cook, garden, travel and spend time with friends and family too!

About Me:: 

Ms. Harsha is currently in her fourth year teaching as Director of Bands and Blevins Middle School in Fort Collins, CO.  Ms. Harsha grew up in Loveland, CO and graduated from Loveland High School.  She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO.  While at UNC, she studied horn from grammy-award winning artist Marian Hesse, conducting from Dr. Russell Guyver and Dr. Richard Mayne and played in the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, many chamber ensembles and Pride of the Rockies Marching Band.  Ms. Harsha was the Drum Major for the Pride of the Rockies for four years.   

Ms. Harsha studied abroad in London during her junior year of college.  She took classes at King's College London and performed in the King's College London's Symphony Orchestra.  She studied horn with Richard Bissill, free-lance hornist and former principal of the London Symphony Orchestra, at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama.  

Ms. Harsha received her Masters degree in Horn Performance from Boston University.  She studied horn with Eric Ruske and performed in the Opera Pit, Wind Ensemble, Horn Quartet and Symphony Orchestra.  She also performed in the community group, the Jamaica Plains Symphonic Orchestra.
