About Me

I have been teaching for over a decade and have taught from 6th graders to juniors in high school! Additionally, I am an adjunct professor at Colorado State University.

I've been teaching at Blevins since August of 2013, where I have had the opportunity to work with children in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. I have served many roles at Blevins in various coaching positions and committees, but one that I am most proud of is my work with our 8th-grade WEB leaders.

I live in Wellington with my husband and two children, but I spend most of my time in Fort Collins due to the schools my children attend and their busy sports/activities schedules.

Here are a few other fun facts about me:

  • I was born in Brazil.
  • At one point, my mom and mother-in-law lived on our property with us! Now, there is just one!
  • English was not my first language! I speak English, Portuguese, and some Spanish.
  • I have coached tennis, softball, and wrestling.
  • Our dog is named Odie and he is a Yorkie.
  • One of my favorite books is The Great Gatsby.
  • My school pictures are epic!
